ADDRESSING THE BARRIERS TO SCALE
Without addressing these challenges, restoration and rewilding efforts will never get the scale needed to help mitigate climate change, reverse the extinction crisis or provide the foundation for the Sustainable Development Goals. NATURAL STATE is therefore committed to addressing each of these barriers. The first is catalyzing large-scale restoration and rewilding which focuses on ensuring that the right restoration capacity and infrastructure exists in parts of the world where it is most needed. The second is technology for impact monitoring which is needed to cost-effectively monitor the success or failure of large-scale restoration efforts. Finally, we are focusing on helping make large-scale restoration and rewilding possible through innovative financial mechanisms.
